WordPress and WooCommerce development

Custom WordPress websites, online stores and membership platforms, built so your team can run them and looked after once they are live. Every project is led by a Codeable Certified WordPress expert.

From a new site to a rescue

New builds, improvements to the site you have, and rescues when something has gone wrong.

  • Custom WordPress websites

Designed around your content and built with the block editor, so your team can add pages and change text without help.

  • WooCommerce stores

Products and variations, subscriptions, Stripe and PayPal, shipping and tax rules, and a checkout that works on phones.

  • Membership and course platforms

MemberPress, BuddyBoss, LearnDash and LifterLMS: paid access, member communities and course progress in one place.

  • Custom plugins and integrations

Features no plugin offers, and connections to your CRM, forms, email and payment systems.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals

Faster pages for visitors and for Google: images, scripts, caching and hosting set up properly.

  • Migrations and rescue

Moving host, merging sites, cleaning up hacked sites and fixing plugin conflicts and broken features.

Built properly, so it keeps working

A WordPress site is only as good as the code under the theme. We write it the way WordPress itself recommends, so updates are less likely to cause problems and the next developer can follow it.

Codeable accepts about 2% of the WordPress developers who apply.

  • WordPress coding standards

Clean, documented code that passes the official checks.

  • Security built in

Every form we build checks what is sent to it on the server.

  • Translation-ready

Every word in the code we write can be translated later without code changes.

  • Yours to keep

The code we write, plus hosting and licences in your name, with handover notes.

Four steps, the same for every project

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Fill in the quote form or send a brief. We reply by email, usually with a few questions.

  2. 2

    Written scope, fixed price

You get the deliverables and the price in writing first. A large project starts with a short paid discovery.

  3. 3

Built on a private test copy

You see the work as it takes shape and approve it before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Launch and look after

We launch, hand over notes your team can follow, and stay on through a care plan if you want one.

What WordPress clients say

  • Jennifer ConnollyFounder, A Well Styled Life

Muhammad has been amazing, and his knowledge is impressive. He assessed what I needed right away and fixed everything quickly and thoroughly. I can't recommend him highly enough. A delight to work with.
  • Rebecca RugglesProject: S2Member free download access

This is the second time I've hired Muhammad to help with a WordPress plugin customization and he was able to quickly (less than 24 hours) help me achieve the exact functionality I needed connecting the plugins: S2Member and Fancy Product Designer. He will be the first I reach out to next time I need plugin customizations.

WordPress questions, answered

How much does a WordPress website cost?

The price depends on the number of page designs, the features and the systems it connects to. You get a written scope and a fixed price before work starts, and any change is priced before it is built. Small fixes and improvements are priced on their own.

Can you fix or improve my existing WordPress site?

Yes. Much of our work is on sites someone else built: plugin conflicts, broken checkouts, slow pages, hacked sites and features that never quite worked. We look first, explain what we found in plain English, then fix it.

Will my team be able to edit the site?

Yes. We build with the WordPress block editor and reusable sections, so text, images and new pages can be changed without a developer, and we show your team how.

Can you move my site to new hosting?

Yes. We copy the site to the new host, check every page, form and payment on the copy, then switch the domain over and keep the old addresses working.

Do you build membership sites and online courses?

Yes, with MemberPress, BuddyBoss, LearnDash and LifterLMS: paid access levels, communities, course progress, certificates and the integrations between them.

Do you offer WordPress maintenance?

Yes. Care plans cover WordPress and plugin updates, backups, security monitoring and small changes, starting at $99 a month.

Have a WordPress project in mind?

Describe it in a few lines or attach a brief. You get a written scope and a fixed price.
